EKWB Introduces EK-Vardar EVO Fans with Start-Stop Feature

EKWB is introducing the next evolution of their famous EK-Vardar fan line: The EK-Vardar EVO. This new EK-Vardar EVO series features an extended range of PWM operation, including a full-stop function. This is on the electronics level of the PWM controller itself, selecting a full fan stop should the PWM signal fall below a certain duty cycle. Theoretically, this feature allows for a longer life-span and lessens the dust build-up.

EK-Vardar EVO Options

There are several options available for users when selecting the EK-Vardar EVO. First is the availability of a 120mm and a 140mm variant. This allows users of larger 280mm or other radiators with a 140mm mount to experience the new fans as well.

Second, the EK-Vardar EVO is available in all-black, all-white or two-tone black+gray colors. This allows nit-picky users to match their builds accordingly to the closest compatible base color. Both the fan blades, frame and the cabling match each color option for full compatibility.

There are also silent “S” variants that operate at lower a MAX RPM of 1150. Together a higher MAX RPM variant of 2500 and 3000 in the “Furious” model, these EK-Vardar EVO fans do not have the 0dB technology feature. All use the same Hydro-Dynamic Bearing and share many of the same features however.

This includes:

  • High-static pressure / low noise profile
  • High-quality motor and bearing assembly
  • Sealed-edge fan casing
  • Timeless design

Pricing and Availability

The new set of Vardar EVO fans will be available on EKWB’s website or through their partner re-seller network within the next few weeks.
