EKWB Opens Orders for Free LGA 1700 Upgrade Kits on their AIO Products

With the recent release of Intel’s new Alder Lake-S series of CPUs, while they have undoubtedly proven to be exceptionally good processors, with it transitioning to a new LGA 1700 socket, this has caused a number of problems in terms of compatibility with existing cooling products. Fortunately, many manufacturers have been prompt in their action to announce the upcoming availability of upgrade kits. And better still, in many of these instances, they have (or will be) offered to consumers for (basically) free!

Well, following an official announcement by EK Water Blocks (EKWB), they have confirmed that any owner of any of their AIO liquid cooling solutions can now order their ‘free’ LGA 1700 upgrade kit! And unlike many other manufacturers, EKWB is actually being exceptionally reasonable with this!

EKWB – Free LGA 1700 Upgrade Kit on their AIO Liquid Coolers!

EKWB did confirm late last month that the LGA 1700 would be coming to owners of pretty much all of their cooling products. At the time, however, they did not give an entirely firm indication to as when they would begin accepting orders. Following a new update, however, EKWB is now accepting orders for not only their custom-loop water blocks but also pretty much all of their current AIO liquid cooler line-up.

The kit is being made available for free with customers only having to cover the post of postage, which, to us, seems like a very reasonable offer!

Where Can I Learn More?

Unlike a lot of other manufacturers, EKWB is not asking for any sort of proof of purchase. The only exception to this is if you are requesting multiple units. In which case, they might need some kind of satisfaction that you do genuinely own the number of their AIO coolers you’re claiming the LGA 1700 kit for.

Presuming you do, however, want to learn more, your AIO kit can be ordered directly from EKWB right now. So if you wish to learn more, you can check out their official website via the link here!
