EKWB Outfits Gigabyte Z270X Motherboards with New RGB Monoblock

Users who fancy water-cooling their new Gigabyte Z270X motherboard have a new colorful option with the new EK-FB GA Z270X RGB monoblock. This product is compatible with not just Gigabyte Z270X motherboards but the recently announced higher-end AORUS Z270X motherboards as well. It is a single piece unit that covers both the installed CPU and the critical VRM components surrounding the LGA1151 socket. To ease installation, EKWB has outfitted the EK-FB GA Z270X RGB monoblock with nickel-plated brass screw-in standoffs. Each monoblock itself is made of nickel-plated electrolytic copper having a shiny, sleek look especially since it is paired with a thick slab of acrylic glass on top, as is typical of EKWB blocks.

What makes it more unique than other cooling solutions, however, is its RGB feature which can be synched directly with the Gigabyte or AORUS motherboard via the RGB Fusion header. These are 4-pin headers that allow users to control external RGB LEDs at the same time as the onboard RGB LEDs. This RGB monoblock is compatible with the following Gigabyte and AORUS motherboards (links lead to individual product pages, opens in new tab):

The EK-FB GA Z270X RGB monoblock is currently only available in a Nickel variant with an MSRP of 119.95€ including the 19% VAT, available through the EK Webshop.
