EKWB has today expanded its renowned liquid cooling solutions range with the introduction of a new Pro CPU Water Block for the LGA 1700 socket.
EK’s new Pro CPU WB has been specifically designed for the LGA 1700 socket offering an enterprise-grade cooling solution for some of the hottest processors on the market. This block uses a variant of the EK-Quantum Velocity² cooling engine which uses specifically tailored mounting pressure and cold plate geometry for the IHS and die layout of LGA 1700 processors ensuring maximum heat dissipation. This cold plate of the block uses a dense micro fin design which also features low hydraulic flow restriction for setups that use weaker pumps or simply just use lower pump speeds for quieter operation.
The block itself is CNC-machined from durable black POM Acetal with a laser-cut stainless steel hold-down bracket. The block features two G1/4″ threaded ports on the top and has a pre-assembled error-preventing mounting mechanism installed directly onto the metal mounting bracket. This bracket uses four spring-loaded screws which ensure optimal hold-down pressure for perfect installation.
The EK-Pro CPU WB 1700 water blocks are available for pre-order on the EK Webshop for €157.90 and is expected to ship out in late July.
