Elden Ring Is Back On Top of Steam Thanks To DLC

Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree has relit the spark of the game that originally drew thousands of players to the game. With the release of the new DLC, we have once again seen it climb the Steam charts taking over all but Valve’s own Counter-Strike, Dota 2 and Banana.

The game’s new DLC is a smash hit, bringing back hundreds of thousands of players and boosting the average player count from 100,000 to a peak of 750,000 within 24 hours. It’s also dominating the Steam top sellers list even beating out the Steam deck, a first for the game in a long time.

However, the game is not without its flaws. Some players have reported performance issues and have called on FromSoftware to address them, leading to negative reviews. Additionally, as with many Soulslike games, some players have been complaining about the game’s difficulty.
