Elder Scrolls Online Now Free-to-Play

As of 17th March, MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online no longer requires a monthly subscription to play. As Bethesda had previously announced, the game has become The Elder Scrolls: Tamriel Unlimited, and requires only a purchase of the game, with no further subscription fees required.

Any gamers who have an existing subscription will be given the opportunity to upgrade to Plus membership as well as being gifted a 10% progression boost and a monthly allotment of 1,500 crowns.

The Elder Scrolls: Tamriel Unlimited is due for release on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in June.
