The Streamdeck comes hard-wired with a pretty standard looking USB cable. However, it’s not like you’ll be throwing it around all the time, so I doubt that’ll be an issue. It has a good cable length too, so it should be an issue hooking it up to the back of your PC and reaching to either side of your desktop.
The front of the unit is pretty simple too, with a clean and stylish design that you would be happy to keep on your desk from day to day. It has six buttons for you to play around with, and with folder and macro abilities, you’ll be able to expand the functionality easily enough.
The unit is free-standing, unlike the 15 button model which comes with a height adjustable stand. However, it has good ergonomics for its size, making the screen easy to see and the buttons easy to reach.
It comes with a rubber grip base too, so tapping a button shouldn’t push it along your desk. Of course, that may vary dependant on the surface it’s placed on as the unit is lightweight.
Overall, it’s pretty compact, easy to place, and pretty stylish. So, how does it perform? Let’s jump in and look at the features on offer!
