Eligible ’16-Bit Arena’ Players Can Give Free Copies Of The Game To Their Friends

Independent games developer Josh “Psycrow” Cronkhite is proud to announce that his PC retro-style turn-based RPG ’16-Bit Arena’ is available as a FREE game to eligible players!

‘16-Bit Arena’ is a turn-based PC-RPG in which you participate in up to 9v9 multiplayer battles! Play as Warrior, Mage, Rogue or Healer, and transform into any of the 16 available characters by combining their stats and abilities with your classes. Each character has elemental properties, and you can collect gems and cast magic! Journey through the games 8 intense trials to gain cards and gems you will use in the arena. ’16-Bit Arena’ also has a unique 2-player tactical RPG-style mini-game, a great addition to the title enabling you to earn additional cards and gems. You can gain charge during a battle to inflict further damage, boost specific stats, and more, or just preserve your turns for later as part of your strategy.

Currently a project on Steam Greenlight, ’16-Bit Arena’ has an active community that offers updated content on a weekly basis, a really cool web-comic with the 8 Paladins from the game, and soon-to-be-released additions such as the ability to create your very own unique character.

In a limited-time promotion beginning June 24th 2013, players are provided with a special (periodically changing) download link to a DRM-free version of the game, a link which paid and registered players are allowed to share with their friends adding new players to the community!

With its awesome multiplayer battles, active community, growing popularity, unique visual style and retro-battles to the tune of a real guitar, ’16-Bit Arena’ offers addictive gameplay to fans of the genre!

‘16-bit Arena’ is currently available for purchase from IndieVania, IndieCity, Desura, Amazon, Shinyloot, and very soon from Green Man Gaming and Gamersgate.

Thank you 16 Bit Arena for providing us with this information.
