Twitter To Remove Blocking Option
Elon Musk has recently shared in a Tweet that the block feature that the majority of social media platforms use, will be getting removed with an exclusion for DMs. This tweet came in response to teslaownersSV questioning if there is ever a reason to block vs mute someone, well yes if I want to not see what someone has to say as well as them not seeing what I have to say. Interestingly readers have provided context underneath the tweet which claims that Twitter would be in violation of the App Store and Google Play Store policies and would lead to the app being removed which would be good news.
Blocking people is an important feature to have especially with social media. Some people are just plain annoying or dedicate their profiles to political crap or arguments which you just don’t want to see and blocking them is the best solution.
