Performance

This mouse has all the right parts to be a great gaming mouse, its lightweight design being one of the most prominent. I like a lightly textured gaming surface (it’s Cashmere wool, la-de-dah, I know), but with this mouse, it still glides like it’s on ice due to its weight and those PTFE feet.

Tracking certainly isn’t an issue either, as the masterful PixArt PAW3395 sensor has proven a big hit with brands like Razer, Endgame Gear, Corsair and more, so we know it’s pretty fantastic. It’ll track at up to 16.51 meters per second at 26,000 DPI and while it is tunable in the software, the profile switch on the top cycles through 400/800/1000/1500/2000/3000 as standard, and I never felt the need to push it past 1500. There’s no jitter, angle snapping or any other nasties like that; it tracks beautifully in any setting.

The mouse is wireless and comes with a USB dongle tucked into the underside. It pairs up pretty much instantly and is plug-and-play ready, which is great. However, it can also be connected via Bluetooth, or via a USB Type-C cable, giving you plenty of flexibility on how you use it.

The included cable is very flexible, and lightweight and comes with a very attractive paracord sleeving, which features a matching white and grey design.

Of course, being USB Type-C, you can charge it or use it with any other Type-C cable you desire, which is great should the original become damaged or lost.

The weight of the mouse is impressive too, given that it has a solid top body, but there is a bit of material shedding on the bottom to trim the weight down, and that features the same triangular pattern we saw on the rubber side grips. Also on the underside, you’ll find a snug to store the dongle when not in use, as well as a master power switch that allows you to use the mouse with or without the RGB LEDs turned on.

The lighting effects are pretty stunning too, with the mouse wheel featuring an inner ring of light under the rubber grip, as well as a strip of lighting that runs down the middle of the wheel.

There’s also lighting built into the logo at the back, as well as a C-shaped section of light on the base, providing some ambient underlighting effects. The brightness is strong and the colours are vibrant too, giving you some great customisation options.

Overall, this is just a great mouse from the moment you take it out of the box. Their software is robust too, allowing you to adjust the sensor, and button configuration, apply macros, lighting modes and more and save all your settings to the mouse so they’re always ready to go when you need them.
