Enermax 2.5 and 3.5-Inch Mobile Drive Rack Roundup Review

A Closer Look: EMK3101
Enermax has included everything you might need with the EMK3101 mobile rack. You’ll get a power adapter from SATA to MOLEX, a SATA data cable with metal clip on one end, a HDD protective film to safeguard the PCB and other parts of your mobile rack as well as a manual, screws to mount it and a key to lock it up.
The front is very simple but stylish, the lock is included in the lever and so is the LED activity light. A pull on the lever and your drive ejects, ready to take it on the road or plug in another one.
The lock on the front prevents the accidental opening which is a nice feature as that would eject the drive at the same time, and no one wants that.
The mechanism works in a very simple way with a lever at the back to push the drive out and a spring to keep it all working. Simple, but it works perfectly time and time again.
On the rear of the mobile rack, we don’t find much besides the SATA power and data connectors as well as an extra LED connection.
My Western Digital RED 2.5-inch drives fit snugly into the rack and everything performed as it is supposed to.
