Enermax Aurora Micro Wireless Keyboard Review

Out of the box we can see that the Aurora is packed with features, a condensed keyboard not unlike that of a laptop is complimented by mouse buttons, a scroll wheel, hot keys and a trackball mouse across the top. The F-Keys also feature secondary functions highlighted in blue, as do the four main arrow keys, which further extend the functionality of the keyboard while keeping its overall footprint to a minimum.

The side profile of the keyboard demonstrates just how sleek this keyboard really is, with all the keys mounted flat on the wedge shape of the keyboards chassis.

Around the back there are few details and no flip up stands like you find on a desktop keyboard, this is better suited for use on your lap while sat on the couch, making it perfect for a HTPC.

At the top we have a small battery compartment, a connect button to pair the keyboard with the USB dongle and a very handy on/off switch to help save power.

All the important hot keys and function keys are here too, with a strong focus on multimedia playback and control. The best additions though are the high quality scroll wheel and the DPI settings for the trackball mouse on the F9, F10 and F11 keys. On the right you can also see a very handy battery power status indicator.

All the keys have a really high quality finish and the low profile should make for a really comfortable typing position, so lets move onto the performance section and see how it gets on.
