Mounting each cooler was super easy, bolts come through the back plate and long bolts on the top side of the motherboard hold it in place, while also acting as raisers for the two support plates, which are held in place with the four thumb screws you can see in the picture. The whole thing can be done tool free up until this point.
Actually mounting the cooler was a lot trickier and to be fair, there are few coolers out there that are not tricky to mount. Nimble fingers and a long screw driver will certainly help a lot.
Powered up and we see the stunning 12 blue LEDs give off a strange slow rotating vortex effect to the fan blades, very cool looking, but it is worth noting that you cannot turn off the LEDs.
Bonus photo in a darker environment.
Next up we have the white edition which features white LEDs, although to my eyes they have a slight touch of blue to them that isn’t uncommon in white LED lighting.
The light shines through the side of the fan and overall it looks rather stunning, wouldn’t you agree?
