Enermax Fulmo GT Full Tower Chassis Review

It is only when you remove the side casing that you can see the true size of this Jumbo tower.Enermax have tried to layout the interior in a user friendly way with all of the 3.5” drive bays located down the right side of the tower. These bays come in the form of 10 HDD trays which use anti-vibration rubber grommets to cushion the drives for a ultra-smooth performance.

Above these are four 5.25” optical drive bays, using quick release clips with tool-less operation which secure the drives in place with a clip as opposed to screwing them into the chassis.

Moving across the case there are many rubber grommets located on the motherboard tray to allow tidy cable management throughout the tower. The Fulmo GT come’s pre fitted with a variety of cables that link the front ports and dials to the motherboard slots. In addition to this the above mentioned fan PCB controller has a header fitted above and between the grommets in the main body of the case offering a central location to wire the fans to.

The pegs are already located to accommodate both micro ATX and the much larger HPTX motherboards. These are aligned with the 10 expansion slots that can accommodate a wide variety of cards including Graphics cards up to an impressive 425cm long.

The PSU screws to the rear of the case with an additional Velcro strap that connects through the chassis and the base of the tower to prevent vibration and unwanted noise.

Looking on the rear side of the motherboard tray you can see there is a good sized hole for access to the CPU cooler back plate allowing maintenance to relevant components as required. In addition to this there is plenty of room for cable management, offering easy access to both drive bays and motherboard locations alike.

The internal components feel well made with a quality look about them. The top exhaust fan is removable for installation of the second PSU in the back of the case.

Two additional fans are also found on the door of the case offering even more cooing capabilities for systems that require that extra bit of circulation.
