Enermax have just unveiled a brand new series of PC Chassis’ – the iVektor series. These new cases come in white, red and black. They are mid-tower cases designed to support all the latest enthusiast grade hardware on the market include tall CPU coolers or 240mm radiators and large graphics cards.
The case has a lot of cooling options with up to two front 120mm fans, a bottom 120mm fan, two top 120mm fans and a rear 120mm fan. Enermax did not specify which fans are included but we know there are two pre-installed 120mm fans, possibly two at the front though the configuration doesn’t matter as you can tweak it yourself. As you can see from the above image the case uses a side panel window which is sure to appeal to a lot of enthusiasts out there, especially for such a budget mid-tower case.
In terms of clearance for graphics cards the above diagram gives you a clear demonstration. Enermax have opted to use the new dual-bay mounting system for hard drives where you can choose to have either 3.5 inch or 2.5 inch drives depending on which rails you choose to use (A or B).
The Enermax iVektor also features a patented tool-less 5.25 inch drive installation method, dual USB 3.0 and 2.0 ports with an integrated fan controller, up to 30mm of clearance for cable routing behind the motherboard tray and up to 179mm in CPU cooler height clearance. That said the Enermax iVektor looks like a pretty sweet case for a price point of $75.99 for the red model and $79.99 for the black and white models which use a special soft touch coating. Availability will be worldwide from late August.
