Performance

Stock performance on the LiqMax is pretty reasonable, mixing in with the NZXT Kraken X61, Tundra TD03 and Fractal S24, all similar specification 240mm radiators.

The overclocked performance is staggering, but still not enough to beat out the long-standing champion, the Enermax Liqtech 240mm, although I’m sure Enermax aren’t upset that they’ve not got the two best coolers we’ve tested.

Acoustic performance is about where I expected it to be, average, but certainly still quiet enough for you to forget it’s running once installed within your chassis.

The noise crept up a little when overclocked, but t hat’s to be expected and it’s still on par with the Liqtech 240mm. There was a slight “buzz” from the pump, but nothing that I would consider an issue.
