Available for around £40-50 the Ostrog is a great value chassis and of course it is also available in other colours, so if pink isn’t to your linking then there is no need to disregard the chassis. For a low to mid budget product it looks great, and it is very competitively priced.

Conclusion

Overall I think this is a great little case, it offers a lot of features and doesn’t ask for a lot of money in return, everyone loves getting good value for their money. Priced at under £50 it is hardly going to break the bank, but there are a couple of minor issues to keep in mind when making a purchase.

The first issue would be water cooling, while most 120mm radiators will easily fit on the rear 120mm fan mount, there really isn’t support for anything bigger and the top panel isn’t drilled to handle 240mm or 280mm radiators.

The next issue would be fans and air intake. This chassis has fan grills all over the place, so natural airflow should be pretty decent here and for most low to mid system builds the single 120mm fan will be enough. However, most gaming rigs will require better airflow and you will want to invest in an extra fan (or more) to pull air into the chassis. Just keep in mind that the fan intakes are not dust filtered and that the extensive ventilation could make it difficult to achieve a positive air pressure, so expect dust build up if you don’t maintain your system regularly.

The plus side to all this is that the case can hold a huge number of fans for its size, if you really want to pack this out with fans and create a small tornado of airflow inside the Ostrog, you likely could, although noise would certainly become more of a problem should you do so.

The design is great and while the Pink might not be to everyone’s liking there are black and white editions on the market that maybe more to your liking. I really like the front panel and the main I/O panel, they’re nicely laid out and feature a funky outer edge air intake.

Build quality is pretty good too, it’s hardly built from 5mm steel given this price range, but it’s certainly respectable. The use of good quality plastics, a good paint job and well made fixtures and fittings give the whole thing  premium feel and overall the chassis feels like a decent investment.

We really like this chassis and feel it is almost worthy of our Bang for Buck award, had it had an extra 120mm fan and maybe a little more effort to filter airflow, it would be an amazing product, but in its current configuration we’ll settle for saying it’s very good indeed.
