A Closer Look – Interior
Enermax make this power supply in-house and it includes a pair of DC to DC converters to generate the minor rails on the secondary side.
High quality CapXon capacitors are used for secondary side minor rail regulation.
The primary side hold-up capacitor is rated for 330uF, 400 volts and 85 degrees operation. Panasonic are the maker of this capacitor.
AC line filtering starts at the receptacle and continues onto the main PCB with the adequate protections for power grid surges.
Enermax make the fan which is a 139mm unit with a maximum amperage of 0.45. We assume the maximum RPM is around 1500-2000 considering its size but Enermax do not specify.
