Enermax have just revealed their latest full tower chassis; the Thormax GT. The new chassis is huge, with support for a wide range of motherboards from mini-ITX, all the way up to E-ATX workstation / dual socket motherboards. There’s room for graphics card of up to 490mm; significantly more room than you’re likely to ever need. Love stacking your graphics cards? The Thormax GT is capable of holding four dual-slot graphics cards, with a depth of 360mm and a maximum length of 490mm for two cards with the hard drive cage removed. Storage is handed by four 5.25″ bays, five 2.5″/3.5″ bays and a stealth mounted 2.5″ bay behind the motherboard.
The chassis comes with a pair of 18CM Enermax Vegas Blue LED fans and will support six more 120/140mm fans and there is water cooling support for a 240mm in the bottom and 360mm radiator in the top with a depth of 60mm each. There is no doubt that this chassis can handle an ultra-high performance rig.
The front panel comes equipped with 2 x USB 3.0, 2 x USB 2.0, a 5 mode LED switch for the pre-installed Vegas fans, a 5 level fan speed controller and LED speed indicators which can all adjust up to four fans at once. The side of the chassis features a magnetic headset holder, and the top panel features heavy-duty handles to help you lug around your system. Finally, the base of the chassis also features 360 degree rotatable feet, allowing you to give your chassis extra stability.
This chassis looks and sounds absolutely incredible, we doubt there is much on the market that won’t fit in this thing and we’re eagerly awaiting more news from Enermax about the price and release date.
Thank you Enermax for providing us with this information.
