Typically a user chooses their gaming platform based on several factors, from the hardware it contains to the exclusives that will take up days of their lives, a single choice to shape years of gaming. Playstation maker Sony is looking to make it easier on Playstation users to enjoy their games thanks to them bringing the Playstation Now service to PC, best of all, you don’t actually need a PlayStation at all to enjoy it!
The move will bring hundreds of games from the Playstation catalogue to the PC with series like the God of War franchise or the Rachet & Clank series of games to the PC. If that wasn’t enough it would seem they want you enjoying their controller thanks to a new wireless USB dongle to connect the DualShock 4 controller to the PC for all your gaming needs.
Not only will the new adapter help connect your controller to a PC or Mac but all of your favourite features such as the motion sensor, headphone jack and even touchpad will be available if the game supports it. At only $29.99, the adapter means you and your friends can enjoy and fight at your favourite PC games with your favourite PS4 controller.
With crossplay being a key feature of Microsoft’s strategy to combine both Windows and Xbox gaming, is this Sony’s way to grasp back gamers?
