Yes, another company has released yet another mouse dedicated to competitive gamers, but this time around we’re actually talking about EpicGear and its MORPHA mouse. The company has recently introduced this brand new peripheral for those of you who expect nothing but the best performance-wise, which is why it is equipped with a 6,400 dpi IR LED sensor for exceptional accuracy and stability. Sadly, it looks like this mouse was designed only for right-hand palm and claw grip users, which might put off quite a few potential left-handed buyers.
As we’ve come to expect from a modern gaming mouse, this one is accompanied by a special software that allows the user to modify various settings regarding angle-snapping, button assignment, report rates and gaming profiles. Gamers can lock in their current profile by pressing the dpi button for five seconds, which guarantees that no settings will be altered if the dpi button or profile button are pressed by accident.
Moreover, the peripheral boasts a weight management system that supports up to four five gram tuning weights that add up to a maximum total weight of 130 grams.
As far as pricing and availability are concerned, EpicGear will release this mouse in February and will sell for about US$69.99 plus tax. Below you will find a complete list of specifications for this new gaming mouse.
