A Closer Look

The ZorA comes hard-wired with a durable and lightweight USB cable, which is fitted with a custom shaped USB header. All pretty straight forward, but you can see and feel the quality here, and the braiding should help improve the lifespan of the cable too.

Straight away you can see this is a great looking mouse. It’s got a very nice shape to it, and the sweeping curve of the top panel makes it well suited to multiple grip types; claw, fingertip, and palm rest should all be fine.

There are some tough rubber grips on each side, which are beneficial to any grip type, but more so for claw and fingertip. They provide more than enough control over the mouse, but the slight under-cut shape also makes the mouse easy to pick up; handy if you’re using a low-DPI/liftoff technique.

Towards the back of the mouse, a simple EG and Zora logo, which should look great powered up thanks to the built-in LED lighting.

One thing that is interesting about this mouse is that while it is symmetrical and technically ambidextrous, it only has side buttons on the left, as this is a right-handed mouse. The design is to keep the mouse exceptionally well-balanced, which should improve overall control of the mouse while gaming.

The LMB and RMB switches are mounted on separate panels, which should help improve their overall control and responsiveness, no chance of any feedback from one triggering the other. There’s a pair of switches in the middle too, perfect for DPI adjustments and switching profiles, but these can be programmed to suit your needs. The scroll wheel is a good size, has a light tactile bump when turned for added control and it’s clickable, giving us a total of 7 fully programmable buttons on the ZorA.

The underside of the mouse is pretty simple, a nice flat surface with two large slipmats, so it should glide with ease too, regardless of your gaming surface of choice.
