Erying, known for its innovative Mobile on Desktop motherboards, has recently unveiled the latest addition to their lineup: the Polestar series. These motherboards are designed to work with Intel’s 13th Gen HX CPUs, providing a powerful combination of performance and value.
The new Polestar MoTD HX motherboards start at a remarkably low price of $270 for the 16-core models. These boards incorporate Intel’s high-performance Raptor Lake-HX SKUs, making them a cost-effective solution for mainstream builders. The series offers options up to the 24-core Core i9-13980HX, which is known for its high boost clock of up to 5.60 GHz and a total of 32 threads. This makes it an excellent choice for demanding applications and gaming.
Erying has revamped the design from their previous models to accommodate these high-end CPUs. The new design includes a built-in CPU with a large vapor chamber for efficient cooling, supported by a robust 10-phase VRM power system. Additionally, the motherboards come equipped with four DDR5 DIMM slots, allowing for up to 192 GB of RAM, enhancing the overall system performance and future-proofing for users.
The expansion capabilities are impressive as well, featuring two PCIe 4.0 x16 slots and three M.2 slots for extensive storage options. The inclusion of multiple I/O ports, such as USB 3.0 and HDMI, ensures connectivity for a variety of peripherals.
Despite its high-end features, the Polestar MoTD HX series remains competitively priced. The top-tier Core i9-13980HX model is available around $370, offering near-similar performance to more expensive counterparts in the market. This price includes both the CPU and motherboard, presenting a significant saving for builders.
With these motherboards, Erying continues to provide high-performance computing solutions at accessible price points, reinforcing their position in the market as a provider of cost-effective yet powerful technological solutions.
