ESO 2022 Content Leaks Early in Tweet (Spoilers!)

The official reveal for The Elder Scrolls Online 2022-2023 content has been hinted at already in their teaser video trailer. It was riddled with clues, but no clue is more conclusive than a tweet literally telling us the name. Soon, it looks like we’ll be heading to an as-yet unexplored land for any game in the franchise, High Isle. Oh and I guess they also leaked that there will be a competition and loads of cool merch, so keep an eye out for that.
Check out the original cinematic teaser below, it’s pretty awesome. We already know the game will be less about another big-bad monster type god or boss, but something a little more war and political focused instead, which sounds great. Even in the video, you see the three main factions sailing together, only to fall foul of another leader.
High Isle – What Do We Know?
Thankfully, Elderscrolls Fandom site has us well covered here. “High Isle is a part of the Systres Archipelago in The Elder Scrolls Online featured in the High Isle chapter of the Legacy of the Bretons story arc.” The Bretons have yet to have their own full story, so this will be an interesting exploration for that race. There are Bretons as a race in ESO already, but they’re merely settlers in those lands, so visiting their home will give us a clearer picture of the culture and intentions.
Global Reveal
The official reveal kicks off at 8 PM here in the UK, and you can tune in and watch it on the video embed below, which should also tell you your local time for the stream. It’s unclear how long the stream will be, but I’d suspect an hour for the stream, and likely they’ll stream some extended gameplay and content after that, so stock up on snacks.
