AMD had gone from strength to strength with their Ryzen processors, with the launch of the first-gen Ryzen just a few years ago, and now with the growing popularity of their gaming-focused X3D version, they’re putting up some serious competition for Intel, both in terms of their pricing and with their gaming performance. The Ryzen 7 7800X3D definitely gets our thumbs up here, it’s the best rival against the latest Intel hardware and continues to offer great upgrade paths for their customers due to AMD’s focus on maintaining their sockets for more than one motherboard generation.
