eTeknix @ Dino PC Bonfire LAN Party

We stopped by the Dino PC HQ today for their special Bonfire LAN party event, but with the promise of virtual reality gaming, arcade machines, gaming tournaments, glorious PC gaming, table tennis, fireworks, prizes, as well as snacks and drinks, we would have been crazy not to go!
The free event kicked off this afternoon, open to all, and Dino PC did not disappoint. Just like their attention to detail for stunning PC builds, they setup a pretty fun environment for all. Don’t worry if it doesn’t look busy, we took the pictures pretty early (honest).
The team setup huge banks of gaming rigs, all custom-built systems by Dino PC and sponsored by Gigabyte. One of the main attractions, a Mortal Kombat tournament, and as predicted, we get our asses kicked.
The folks from Gigabyte were keen to get hands on with the VR hardware too, but when there’s a free Vive setup to play around with, you just can’t help yourself!
Dino PC pride themselves on unique and sometimes unusual gaming rigs, and their latest deploy some stunning vinyl designs that beg you to yell “shut up and take my money”, such as these gorgeous meme-covered chassis (below).
Gigabyte were out in force with the prizes too, with lots up for grabs, such as a brand new Gigabyte GTX 1050 series GPU; not bad for a free event and a few casual games!
The rooms filled up pretty quickly, with people who were clearly more interested in playing the games than the fireworks, but we’re sure they’ll break away from their screens for those soon enough… maybe.
Obviously, their out to promote their brand, so they’ve rocked up with some of their best systems on show too. The build on this is phenomenal and while it won’t come cheap, it’s clear you get a great system for your money. We’ve actually got one of their newer custom systems in for review, so stay tuned for that early next week!
