Eurocom adds HD 7970M to Neptune and Racer 2.0 notebooks

Eurocom  is adding the AMD Radeon HD 7970M GPU to the Neptune 2.0 and Racer 2.0 high performance notebooks. The addition of the AMD Radeon HD 7970M offers gamers and enthusiasts a new level of ultra high performance GPU computing with AMD Enduro for long battery life by taking advantage of AMD’s existing ZeroCore Power and Power Gating battery-saving features.

Eurocom offers gamers and enthusiasts total control of their fully customizable EUROCOM Racer 2.0 and Neptune 2.0, the AMD Radeon HD 7970M will can team up with up to 32GB of DDR3-1600 RAM, Intel Core i7 3920XM Notebook Processor, RAID 0/1/5 capability with SSD, HDD, mSATA and Hybrid drive support to create blazing mobile performance for the hard core gamers out there.

AMD Radeon HD 7970M graphics are designed to not only push the boundaries of DirectX 11 gaming, the GCN Architecture help within is also AMD’s first design specifically engineered for general computing. Equipped with up to 32 compute units (2048 stream processors), each containing a scalar coprocessor, AMD’s 28nm GPUs are more than capable of handling workloads-and programming languages-traditionally exclusive to the processor.
