Eurocom announce the extreme performance Scorpius notebook

Ever wanted a notebook so fast that it puts the majority of desktops to shame? Well Eurocom is giving the opportunity to do just that. Based around Intel’s Ivy Bridge Core i7 mobile processors on the HM77 (“mobile Z77”) the Eurocom Scorpius boasts an immense amount of performance – whilst also being totally customisable. You can opt for AMD graphics courtesy of the HD 7970M, Nvidia graphics up to dual GTX 680Ms or Quadro graphics if you’re a professional user.

Four RAM channels bring up to 32GB of potential capacity, four storage drive spaces bring support two hard drives, an optical drive and an mSATA SSD. While we could go on forever listing specifications, we won’t. This notebook-verging-on-desktop-PC really is the best in its class, backed up by the Eurocom brand and warranty. It will have a large price tag, but it does offer the best of the best when it comes to the latest generation of hardware. Its not aimed at your “average-joe” user, its aimed at the extreme gamer who wants mobility or the professional who needs Nvidia Quadro processing on the go.
