Eurocom is known for a variety of laptops that are very unique from other manufacturers, not because of aesthetics but because of function. Their latest entry is for a lightweight mobile server called the PX7 Pro SE, made for server grade capability on-the-go. The PX7 Pro SE has a 17.3″ screen and weighs 3.8kg, which sounds heavy for a laptop, but very light for a server. Inside it is equipped with an energy efficient Intel Xeon E3-1505M v5 processor and the PX7 Pro SE can be configured with up to 64GB of Error Correcting Code (ECC) DDR4 memory as well as up to 16TB of RAID 0/1/5 storage via six storage drives.
Since it is a mobile server, it also comes with a built-in UPS/battery pack for reliable uptime anytime, anywhere. This UPS comes in the form of a 9-cell 7500mAh/83.25Wh lithium-ion swappable battery pack, which offers upwards of 1.5 hours of backup power in case of electricity failure, which allows for safe and secure shutdown after power loss. A 230W AC adapter power supply can be plugged in, reducing the internal heat generated inside the system.
