This is an even harder product to test than a mouse and other peripherals as it will all be based on my opinions. The only thing that can be verified is that the Noise Level does not exceed 20 2dB (A) but I was not able to get a more accurate reading due to the Sound Level Meter used.
I will use this Booster while using every day programs as well as a few long-intensive gaming sessions. I will not use any other fans or have the window open as this will make the test unfair. The temperature of my room was about ~22°C throughout the testing stage.
As this device can be powered by any USB port or charger with USB port the test system is completely unrelated. I did test that it could be powered from a stand-alone USB charger as well as the USB ports on my computer. All provided the same power outputs and thus provided the same cooling effect.
For this test the Booster was plugged into a USB hub on top of my desk, as this gives the closest USB port to my mousing area – the cable is approximately 1.5 metres. We will be focusing primarily on the Comfort, Features, Functionality and Performance of the Booster.
