Evercool Buffalo CPU Cooler Review

Final Thoughts
In general this CPU cooler performed well, if a little noisy. There are quite a few problems with it however, including poor translations, no User Guide or even a reference of the Warranty available. Let alone the lack of the speed control which is now built into every CPU cooler we test and is expected to be available.

The basic design of this fan is good, but due to these problems Evercool missed a few tricks and so I can’t recommend it too strongly unless you are looking for a very cheap upgrade to a stock cooler and don’t mind the buzzing sound.

Pros:

  • Looks good
  • Performs better than stock
  • Easy to fit

Cons:

  • Performance can easily be beaten without spending much more
  • No speed control so won’t idle down
  • Quite noisy even compared to stock coolers

We would like to thank Evercool for supplying this sample
