Here at eTeknix we are always looking to work with a wide variety of companies. Big or small, we will always take the time to give their products a thorough going over and produce an honest and objective review on it.
On that same theme it is clear to see Evercool are a company that very often get over-looked on western review websites. They fall into the “small” category because they don’t do much, if any, marketing or advertising in western countries, and stock is, in the most part, difficult to come across. Evercool are a huge company in Asia and we want to see what all the fuss is about. Today we have a new product from Evercool’s line up, the Silent Shark (HPO 12025). This mammoth CPU cooler boasts two 120mm fans and two large aluminium heat sinks.
The main selling point with Evercool’s products in western countries is that you should get a lot more “bang for your buck” compared to more reputable brands like Corsair and Zalman because Evercool can bring the benefit of lower Asian production, r&d and marketing costs. We will be doing our best to see if this is really the case. The Evercool costs $75/€58/£45~ – making it cheaper than a lot of other coolers we have tested.
You can find more about Evercool here, and detailed specifications on the Silent Shark CPU cooler here. Without any further ado let us proceed to the main part of the review.
