EVGA has just announced the latest flagship PSU in its growing power supply range, the new Supernova 1600 T2. EVGA’s Supernova 1600 T2 is a 1600W beast, with 80 Plus Titanium efficiency, and just over 94% typical switching efficiency (96% on 230VAC).
The new PSU also has a single 133.3A + 12V rail design, a durable main transformer, Japanese capacitors, common electrical protection mechanisms, an intelligent 140mm fan, which will only spin up once it hits a certain load threshold. The EVGA Supernova 1600 T2 also features countless outputs, including: one 24-pin ATX, two 8-pin EPS, nine 6+2 pin PCIe, six additional 6-pin PCIe (a total of 15 PCIe power connectors), sixteen SATA, six Molex, and two Berg.
EVGA is making the Supernova 1600 T2 available right now, directly from the company, for $449.99 in the US.
