Yesterday, we shared with you what appeared to be the picture of the EVGA GTX 1080 SuperClocked Edition. Apparently, those were not of the real card. Accordingly, we’ve now discovered what the SuperClocked and FTW editions will look like respectively. What’s more both cards feature the same ACX 3.0 cooler with some minor differences.
First off, we have the EVGA GTX 1080 SuperClocked variant. The LEDs are much improved, with a large EVGA GTX 1080 backlit logo adorning the side. Near the end of the card, we also have a small green SC LED as well. Unfortunately, the card only features a single 8pin PCIe power connector. This may limit the max overclock we see on the SC but hopefully, EVGA has tuned their card to get us as close to the 225W limit as possible.
Next up, we have the FTX variant of the card. The same side LED bar features as from the SC, but the blue FTW logo is integrated rather than separate from the main LED panel. We have the same ACX 3.0 cooler but this time, we get 8+8pin PCIe connectors. This should provide more than enough power to push the GTX 1080 to the max. Which card do you prefer? The SC or the FTW?
