Overclocking
Now, this is where the EVGA GTX 1660 XC Ultra really comes into its own. These are some of the biggest overclocks we’ve had on any GPU, at least on air cooling. While the power consumption and temperatures did increase, they were still nothing compared to the huge performance improvements.
In FireStrike, the score pushed up 11.75%, which is no small leap. However, it’s the gaming performance that was most impressive. An extra 9 FPS is a freaking massive leap. To put 88 FPS into perspective, the GTX 1070 Ti scored 88 FPS and a GTX 1080 scored 90. Of course, those cards can overclock too, but that’s still an impressive gain for such a cheap card!
