EVGA Updates the CLC 120 AIO
EVGA is announcing a new budget version of their CLC 120 All-in-One CPU cooler. The New CLC 120 CL11 lacks the fancy RGB LED lighting of the regular CLC 120, but it is significantly more affordable. CLC of course stands for “closed-loop cooling”, which means that the unit is self-contained and maintenance free. Despite the low price, EVGA stands by this product with a lengthy 5-year warranty.
What Features Can Users Expect with the CLC 120 CL11?
As you might have guessed from the name the CLC 120 uses a 120mm radiator. This radiator is only 28mm thick and is made of aluminium. It can mount almost anywhere a 120mm fan can since the radiator measures 156mm x 122mm x 28mm. Speaking of fans, it comes bundled with a single sleeve bearing cooler. This runs up to 1800 RPM delivering 2.13mm-H2O of static pressure at 32.1dB(A).
Since it is a budget cooler, it lacks the sleeving on the hose as well. However, it is made of flexible rubber for low permeation. There is also thermal paste already pre-installed on the copper cold plate so it is ready to use right out of the box.
In terms of component compatibility, the CLC 120 CL11 fits Intel LGA2066/2011/2011-v3/115X/1366 and upcoming variants. AMD users unfortunately have to look elsewhere. However, this is basically a previous gen Asetek kit so if you can find an AMD mounting adapter, you should have no problem installing this on an AMD system.
How Much is the EVGA CLC 120 CL11 AIO?
The EVGA CLC 120 CL11 AIO is only $59.99 USD and is available now directly from EVGA.com.
