It has been three months by now since EVGA first introduced us to these two new power supply models, the EVGA SuperNova 650 G2 and Supernova 550 G2, and now they’re finally become available too.
These power supplies are based on the award winning G2 power supplies and feature an 80 Plus gold certification on the efficiency to provide clean power to all your components.
The CO Control Fan system offers fan modes to provide you with an absolute zero fan noise setup, when it isn’t needed. This means that no fan is spinning unless it’s needed and that’s just as wonderful on PSUs as it is on graphics cards.
The Supernova 650 G2 and Supernova 550 G2 are both backed by a 7-year warranty and they are built with 100% Japanese capacitors to make sure it easily lasts that time.
The PSUs are fully modular, allow for crossfire or SLI setups and come with all the protections you’ll want. OVP, UVP, OCP, OPP, and SCP are all included.
When a company sais that a product is available, it effectively means that it is on its way to the distributors who will then send it on to the shops where you can buy them. So while you might not be able to find it at your favorite shop yet, you should very soon.
