EVGA are at the moment in a bit of a strange place, following their departure from the graphics card market, the general thoughts is that the company is beginning to reduce its production and eventually shutter its doors. Of course though that is all just speculation and the company is still creating products including PSUs albeit with concerningly weak warranties, and today the new CLCx Series AIO coolers which feature an LCD display.
The new EVGA CLCx Series is the companies latest AIO which offers itself as the sequel to the award winning EVGA CLC AIO and comes in sizes of 240, 280 and 360mm. It makes use of Asetek’s 7th generation water pump which offers tested quality and performance utilising helium integrity testing to ensure each cooler is virtually immune to leaks.
The key selling point of this AIO is the LCD Display which has been a growing trend with recent AIOs. This display features a 480×480 resolution and can be used to display animations, images and hardware monitoring such as temperatures or fan speeds. All of this can be controlled through the EVGA CLCx software where you can also control your fan profiles.
With its 240, 280, and 360mm radiator’s come EVGA’s new ARGB fans which offer the best balance of cooling, silence and peace of mind through the use of a silent hydro-dynamic bearing with a 50,000 hour lifespan.
It’s good to see that EVGA are still kicking and these AIOs do look very nice but do come with a hefty price tag. The new EVGA CLCx AIOs are available now with a 5 year warranty for the following MSRP.
