EVGA SuperNova 1000 G2 Now Available

At Computex 2013 we went and had a little look around the EVGA booth and stumbled across a new power supply, the SuperNova 1000 G2. Naturally the 1000 denotes the 1000W capacity while the SuperNova and the G2 are part of EVGA’s product segmentation and naming strategy. The EVGA SuperNova 1000 G2 is now becoming available across a wide variety of U.S retailers for $175 -190, in Europe around €180-190 and in the UK around £150-165.
The SuperNova G2 will be EVGA’s second highest power supply with 1000W of power and 80 Plus Gold certification. It is based on a SuperFlower OEM/ODM design that is believed to be one of the best power supply base designs currently available on the market if you check out the review of it on JohnnyGURU.com you will see exactly why. Being an EVGA product though expect EVGA to go to town on high quality accessories, cables and additional features. Furthermore the trademark 10 year EVGA warranty is given on this unit although I highly doubt you’d need it given the quality of the particular PSU design from SuperFlower.
