EVGA have just released their latest SuperNOVA series power supply, and rated at 80 Plus Platinum, their new 1200w behemoth is more than capable of powering an ultra-high end rendering workstation, mining rig (if people still do that), or just an awesome gaming system.
Thanks to it’s fully modular design, high amperage single 12V raid, Japanese Nippon Chemi-Con solid state capacitors, 140mm double ball bearing fan, as well as all the usual safety features such as over power, under power, over voltage, short circuit and over current protection, the new NOVA has just about everything you could want from a premium grade power supply.
The price is a bit steep at $269.99, but the NOVA series has proven to be a solid investment in the past, and one cannot simply ignore the fact that it comes backed up by a stunning 10-year warrant.
