EVGA Taiwan Rumoured To Have Resigned

Rumours have surfaced that the well-known and well-regarded hardware manufacturer EVGA will be quitting altogether long after their withdrawal from producing NVIDIA Graphics cards.
EVGA Rumoured To Shut Down?
As shared by WCCFTech, a forum post on the Korean site, coolenjoy by renowned overclocker SAFEDISK, has made the claim that EVGA employees at the Taiwan office have resigned including Kingpin aka Vince Lucido. This is quite a major claim as losing EVGA in the GPU business was a big shame but losing them altogether will be highly unfortunate. Currently, there is no official statement however TechPowerUp received a comment from EVGA Spain who has claimed “it’s just another day at the office.” which could mean that this is bogus or this is just something that affects the Taiwan team.
Google Translation:
Hello, We would like to inform you about EVGA Currently, all EVGA Taiwan office employees have resigned (including Kingpin). Closures seem to be becoming a fait accompli here. I don’t know what the warranty issue will be, but I hope EVGA users won’t have any complaints about this issue. I wonder what will happen in the future
We’ll have to wait for EVGA’s official announcement.
Warranties
Since the closure of the GPU division at EVGA, they have been very good at maintaining their warranties with their GPUs so if this news is true then continuing on that good trend with their other products may be unlikely. I currently own an EVGA 3090 Ti and it’s a fantastic card that runs cool and doesn’t sag at all so it was a shame to see them drop the GPU business, but to lose their motherboards will be a whole other blow. EVGA’s Dark motherboards aren’t something I’d own due to their overclocking focus but they are some of the best-looking boards on the market with a very rugged look to them.
As of now of course take this lightly and with a grain of salt until EVGA releases an official statement.
