EVGA and world-renowned overclocker Vince ‘Kingpin‘ Lucido are teasing new video card photos on their social media pages. This is of course, most likely the Kingpin Edition of the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti. While the Kingpin version of the GTX 1080 Ti took sometime to come out, this is a surprisingly fast release from EVGA.
The photo, posted on Instagram and Twitter shows a section of the card’s PCB. While this is not enough to excite average hardware fans, it shows plenty to overclocking enthusiasts. This card is also confirmed to have an OLED display and will have a hybrid cooling solution as well.
The teased photos actually shows two objects. One is a partial shot of the PCB, while the other appears to be a section of a GPU pot. Most notable is the presence of the TEK-9 logo. So this is most likely a new RTX TEK-9 SLIM GPU pot model coming out at the same time. Even more likely, a version of the card could be available bundled with the pot.
Previous versions of the TEK-9 SLIM GPU pot costs $219 separately and can handle LN2 or Dry Ice. It is fully nickel plated and comes with substantially thick mounting brackets to support the weight.
