Probably one of the more highly anticipated motherboards of the Z77 line up, EVGA’s Z77 FTW motherboard is now ready for purchase across the world. Powered by Intel’s new Z77 chipset along with the LGA 1155 socket to support both 32nm and 22 CPUs this board will be high performance without the high cost of Sandy Bridge-E. EVGA have provided the maximum 4 channels of memory supporting speeds of up to 2133MHz. Power inputs are plentiful with two 8 pins for the CPU and two 6 pins for PCI-E lanes. EVGA are using POSCAP capacitors as well as active Z77 chipset cooling alongside the passive CPU VRM heatsink. There’s four PCI-E Gen 3 lanes supporting up to 4 way SLI or CrossFireX plus a solitary PCI-E 1X slot for any expansion cards. SATA ports are a 50/50 split of SATA II and SATA III between the eight provided ports.
EVGA have also added dual Gigabit LAN , six USB 3.0 ports (2 front 4 rear), two eSATA connections, 7.1 HD audio, debug LED, UEFI BIOS and a single mini display port output should you use the integrated Ivy Bridge GPUs. his motherboard has an EATX form factor and is available for pre-order on the EVGA website for $329.99.
