EVGA has unveiled another version of its GeForce GTX 1070 graphics card, and what makes this particular version special is that it comes with the brand’s ACX 3.0 cooling solution. The GTX 1070 is based on Nvidia’s new Pascal architecture, and even though the new GPU is one of the most power-efficient products of its kind in the world right now, it still requires top-notch cooling, especially since many of you will definitely want to overclock this beast. The VGA ACX 3.0 cooling technology boasts increased heatpipes and a larger copper contact area when compared to its predecessors, and we should also mention the optimized fan curve that guarantees a quieter experience.
ACX 3.0 coolers include double ball bearings, optimized swept fan blades and a very low power motor that provides an impressive amount of air flow without drawing too much power. It looks like some EVGA ACX 3.0 models will actually come with 10CM fans and RGB LED lighting systems that can be controlled using EVGA PrecisionX OC. Speaking of which, this software is completely compatible with NVIDIA’s Pascal architecture, and it provides great overclocking opportunities by blending features from both EVGA Precision and EVGA OC Scanner. The EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 comes with a series of exclusive features, including DirectX 12 OSD Support, EVGA OC ScannerX Integration, a K-Boost Function and RGB LED control on the FTW version.
