EVGA Unveils GTX 1080 Ti KINGPIN Hydro Copper

EVGA launched the GTX 1080 Ti KINGPIN (stylised as K|NGP|N) in July, but now the card is back and with an additional copper waterblock. The EVGA GTX 1080 Ti KINGPIN Hydro Copper is designed for extreme overclocking, and even offers a guaranteed 2025MHz overclock. The copper waterblock means better thermals, quieter running, and – with no fans to run – lower power demands. Remarkably, though, the card is still single-slot, meaning it won’t hog valuable space inside your PC. In addition, the 1080 Ti KINGPIN Hydro Copper squeezes in three mini DisplayPorts, an HDMI port, and a DVI port.

EVGA Says

“The GeForce® GTX™ 1080 Ti was designed to be the most powerful desktop GPU ever created, and indeed it was. EVGA built upon its legacy of innovative cooling solutions and powerful overclocking with its GTX 1080 Ti SC2 and FTW3 graphics cards. Despite the overclocking headroom provided by the frigid cooling of EVGA’s patented iCX Technology, the potential of the GTX 1080 Ti still leaves room for one more card at the top…and man is it good to be the K|NG.

Then we took it to the next level by adding the EVGA Hydro Copper waterblock. It’s a full-cover block with nickel-plated copper, and a 6 port connection hub on the top providing a wide array of possible connection options.”

Price and Availability

The EVGA GTX 1080 Ti KINGPIN Hydro Copper is out now, priced $1,249.99.
