While not the biggest player in the motherboard market, EVGA still has some cool new boards on show at Computex 2017. The first one is their flagship X299 FTW K, which features support for the latest Intel CPUs, 8 x DDR4 DIMMS, M.2, U.2, and much more. Of course, you can see it also has some serious RGB action going on too.
New up we have their stealthy looking X299 Dark. This features 4 x DIMM slots, but has a focus on cooling the M.2 slots. Another nice feature of this board is the 90-degree headers on the right edge, which should make routing a lot easier.
Finally we have the X299 Micro. This Micro ATX motherboards still has 3 full-size PCIe slots, 4 x DDR4 DIMMS, and some nice chunky heat sinks.
While there is not a whole lot of details on the full specifications of these motherboards, we’re certain that we’ll be hearing more as soon as Intel’s NDA is done with. The same goes for the prices, and release dates of these boards. We don’t expect them to be ready for the CPU launch, but EVGA are working to do something worth the wait, rather than rush these to market. We’ll update you as soon as we know more!
