After a long wait cluttered with endless speculation the official Facebook iPad app is finally here. You can remove any third party applications and non-official apps in favour of an officially supported one. The app seems like the one that was pictured on the web and shared around recently; it has left hand column with all your relevant headers and then the main page to the right. The left column includes: Photos, Messages, Groups, Apps, Settings, Chat and more. The app can be run in full screen and the multi-touch features work so you can zoom in and out as well as swiping across to move through images for example. Facebook games can also be played at full screen. Also AirPlay for Facebook videos is supported in the official iPad Facebook app. You can get it here.…… And yes it is totally free, officially tested and will only use 10.5MB of your precious space.
