The Facebook app for the Apple iPad was expected to be launched at the beginning of July, but as such we hadn’t heard anything.
According to MG Siegler from techcrunchthe Facebook app optimized for use on the Apple iPad was found hidden inside the code of the Facebook’s iPhone app. The code is said to be executable and MG Siegler has been using it for several hours and seems to be very impressed with the navigation, overlay menus and the photo viewer.
While we don’t have much more information than this, we can expect that the official release of the Facebook iPad app will be moved closer after they hear of this revelation.
