We can all safely say that Facebook Messenger is indeed one of the most favorite messaging apps out there. The app introduced a series of features like the Snapchat-like app called Messenger Day, and about six months ago, the Instant Games feature was also added in the application. When the Instant Games feature was launched, it only supported 30 countries around the world, allowing friends and family members to engage in a sort of who-can-beat-my-high-score competition in classic games such as Galaga or Pac-Man.
The good news is that Facebook announced that Messenger’s Instant Games will be available globally and supported by iOS, Android and PC. On top of that, a turn-based gameplay style, something that the players have been asking for, will be added along with tournaments and leaderboards for the satisfaction of the more competitive players.
“People will begin to see new features as game developers start to incorporate the new capabilities with one of Instant Games on Messenger’s biggest hits, Blackstorm’s EverWing, being among the first to use Game bots. Depending on what device you use and where you are located, there are now up to 50 games titles available on Messenger, with more being introduced almost every week. We’re also excited to be bringing the world’s #1 pool game — Miniclip’s 8 Ball Pool — to Instant Games very soon.”
Information has it that the features will be available around the globe in the next few weeks so stick around if you want to learn about Messenger’s Instant Games as soon as they are out. So what do you think about this app? Do you also enjoy playing Instant Games with your friends?
