Fallout 3 Has Been Recreated In Fallout 4

Fallout 3
Opinion over Fallout 4 is somewhat divided. While some appreciate the games graphical style and new features, others felt that while it was a decent game, it suffered from the stagnation of a series that is running out of ideas as to how to innovate.
Personally, I thought it was alright, but not the best. I hated the whole base-building ethos, which is a rare thing for me. Most of all, however, I was disappointed at the lack of variety that the game had to offer.
Aside from the original classics, which I do not think should be judged next to the more modern counterparts, Fallout 3 was my favorite.
I am therefore delighted to see that other people think the same way as in a report via DSOGaming, a group of modders known as ‘Road To Liberty’ are painstakingly bringing Fallout 3 to the Fallout 4 engine.

In the video below, the modding team is hard at work at bringing The Capital Wasteland to Fallout 4.
As part of the mod, they are introducing all key areas as well as plot lines, characters, and quests.

While the project is still in pre-alpha, we already have 12 minutes of footage which looks highly impressive. Do not think though that this port is just for the sake of it. While they may believe 3 to be the superior game, they also acknowledge that 4 had its good points and as such have included some of the more fun features such as the ‘homemaker’ aspect.

In the above video, we currently have 12 minutes of pre-alpha footage and from that, the work which has gone into this is clear for all to see.
I might not have been much of a fan of Fallout 4, but I could get used to playing Fallout 3 again.
